There was a young high school girl who had a mother and a father who were fighting all the time. The young girl was all alone with no one to talk to. After school she went to one store everyday to get some food and when she was looking for some she came across some music. So she picked up a pair of headphones and listened, a few seconds later her mind and heart were at peace and happiness. One rainy day she came across an old guitar that was going to be thrown away. So she took it home and fixed it up that night. Weeks have gone by that she practiced with that guitar. Everyday she went out to the shopping center she sang and played her guitar. The music and her guitar were the only thing keeping her sane. A few more months pass by and her music teacher said she could go to a college of the arts. She was over joyed. When she came home her parents were fighting again but this time it was worse then normal. So she tried to stop them, but her father lifted his hand with a wine bottle and swung it at her and knocked her out cold. The next day she was at school, she was walking down the hallway when she started to feel dizzy. Before long she ended up on the floor passed out. When she woke up she found herself in a hospital. The doctor told her she had brain failure and she only had a few days to live. So the days passed by and she slowly passed away in her bed.

Disney Princesses in Accurate Period Costume

Claire Hummel, an illustrator with a passion for historically accurate costuming recently reworked many of the famous ladies, giving them new garb fitting a stylish member of their periods society. As you can see in her version of Snow White above (based on early 16th century Germany), many of the original Disney costumes weren’t far off, while a few are vastly different.  For more of Hummel’s excellent work, see her website shoomlah.com.”
